Here’s what nearly all communications satellites will be destroyed in a cascading flurry of high velocity kinetic destruction.
It all comes down to basic Newtonian physics.
Podcast Transcript: “Did you know that virtually all communication satellites could be destroyed within the next five to ten years? Welcome to HealthRangerScience.com. My name is Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, your science educator in chief for the day. I’m the lab science director of a mass spectrometry laboratory specializing in elemental analysis of food and water, but I also talk about other science topics including the impending – what should we call the – satellite apocalypse is coming, according to scientists with links to NASA, by the way. You know come to think of it – one of the top scientists in my laboratory was a former contractor for NASA and worked on the space shuttle. I should ask her about this come to think of it. In any case, here’s a deal… Satellites share many of the same orbits, or at least the same distance from the Earth, for all the obvious reasons. Geostationary satellites for example have to be at a certain distance from the Earth – I think it’s like twenty two thousand five hundred miles, in order to maintain a stationary position over a fixed piece of land…” Listen to the full podcast below:
