The FDA has now begun a process of recommending that doctors discuss acupuncture and chiropractic care options with their patients in order to reduce the number of opioid addicts (and deaths).

The FDA has now essentially endorsed the idea, in a guidance document that is going to be released to doctors, that pain management options that are taught by doctors to patients, must include discussions of chiropractor care and acupuncture. Yeah, I know! It’s almost like you can’t believe I said what I just said. ‘The FDA could be endorsing chiropractic medicine and Chinese medicine, acupuncture?
